All Saints’ Primary School Saturday Football Club – Saturday 7th February 2015

Very cold again

Y5 have their final league games, training for all other teams.

Very cold weather is forecast, but all games are expected to be on.

Our session runs from 10am to 11:30 on the heath, between the School and the Church.

A light-weight and warm waterproof top is now essential and a hat and gloves are recommended. Some players are looking very cold at times – a base layer skin under their football shirt and thin gloves are recommended.

Please:

  • try to arrive 10-15 minutes before so that we can begin on time
  • make sure you bring along a cold drink, preferably water
  • bring a light-weight and warm waterproof, hat and gloves

Lewisham Primary Schools League

Y4 finished their league on a high note with a well-deserved win. Credit to the team and their coaches for the way they have developed in their first season of league football.

Games against other schools

Y2 had a great time in their first competitive games against another team when they played two friendlies last week against Blackheath Prep. Well done to the coaches for getting the team up to this standard.

Not to be left out, Y5 were equally keen for friendlies against the Prep arranged on the day.

Half Term

This will be the last full session before half term.

Some teams will train next week (14/02/2015) and there will be some parents v kids games dependent on availability of coaches. Watch for details later.

There will be no football on 21/02/2015.
