7th October 2017

All Saints’ Primary School Football Club – Saturday 7th October 2017

Training for all teams this week – with a special session for the Girls’ team.

We will meet on the heath, between the School and the Church at 10am to 11:30.

  • try to arrive 10-15 minutes before so that we can begin on time
  • make sure you bring along a cold drink, preferably water

Friendlies against Blackheath Prep

Last week Y3 played friendlies against the Prep with two great games showing what this team can do. We will arrange more friendlies against the Prep and other schools as the season progresses.

New players

All our teams would welcome new players but in particular: Y4, Y1 and the Girls who are all a bit short on numbers. Whether you have tried football with us before or not, please give us a go. Football at All Saints’ is about so much more than just playing football it is a key element of the school life and the social interaction of the pupils.

Any sports kit and trainers will do to start with and regular players will of course be provided with the club kit.

Girls Team – Training Session

Last season our Girls team had great success, finishing second in their league and semi-finalists in the cup competition. We would love to maintain this momentum, but we do need more players. This week we will be running a special training session for the Girls’ team. Any girls in Y4-6 who are interested in playing will be most welcome.

Boots and Pads

Young feet grow quickly, so please donate any old football boots and shin-pads still in good condition to the boot bag which are then freely available to others. The boot bag is pretty full at the moment and will be by the shed in the school playground.
